Please note: You cannot change your email address to an email that is already associated with an ActBlue Express account.
First, sign in to your ActBlue Express account.
Click on the Account menu at the top of your screen and select “Settings” from the dropdown.
Click “Edit” next to your current email address.
A pop-up will ask you how you want to verify your identity. You can either request a temporary code or enter your password.
If you created your ActBlue Express account using Google and do not have an ActBlue password, you will only see the option to use a temporary code.
If you use a temporary code, ActBlue will email the address listed in the pop-up.
The code included in the email will expire after 10 minutes. Click “Resend code” to receive a new one.
Enter the code in the code field, or verify your identity using your password, and click “Update email” to save your changes and continue.
A few minutes after you change your email address, you’ll receive an email with instructions on confirming the change. Click “Confirm this email” to update your account.
Changing the email address associated with your ActBlue Express account (the email you use to sign in to your account) differs from changing the email that receives your contribution receipts. Click here to learn how to change your email for receipts.
You won’t lose your badges if you change the email associated with your ActBlue Express account. However, if you create a new ActBlue Express account with a new email, you will start fresh with that account. Your badges will not transfer over.
