Do I need to file donor reports? What reporting guidance can ActBlue provide?
For your campaign or organization to comply with federal, state, and local laws, your team may need to file donor reports with government agencies. We're happy to provide additional guidance on how best to access that data on ActBlue, but none of that guidance should be considered legal advice.
Please consult your legal counsel and compliance team for specific questions about filing reports. You can also direct questions to the government agency overseeing your activity and ask how to report contributions received through ActBlue.
For more information on ActBlue's role as a conduit, check out this guide.
How do I access and download donor data reports?
To download donor data reports from your Dashboard, start by navigating to the Downloads tab under the Tools heading:

From here, you will be given several different options of reports to choose from including All-Time Contributions and Refunded Contributions. You can also specify the date range for some reports and find a list of recently downloaded reports at the bottom of the page:

Once you've identified which report you want to download, click the Export button. This will give you the option to either download the report as a CSV (a universal spreadsheet format which works with most software) or a Google Sheet:
For more information on ActBlue's Google Sheets integration, check out this guide!
How do I download donor data reports for specific contribution forms?
To download a donor data report for a specific contribution form, you'll first need to open up the form you'd like to view data for and then click the Stats button at the top of the page:

Next, locate and click the blue Export All Contributions button to begin the download:

Can I create and download a custom report with only the data I need?
Yes! To create and download custom reports from your Dashboard, simply navigate to the Report Builder tab under the Tools heading:

Report Builder will allow you to download fully customizable data reports with adjustable date ranges and many column options. You can also save reports as reusable templates.
For more in-depth information on how to use Report Builder, check out this guide!
How do I download NGP data?
Are you a federal campaign integrated with NGP? If so, you should automatically see the option to download NGP data beside every CSV button on your Dashboard:

Additionally, ActBlue’s CSV API lets users automate their processes and download donor data via CSVs without having to log in to your Dashboard every time. To access the CSV API for the first time, navigate to your Dashboard toolbar’s Admin section and select the API Credentials tab. For more information, check out the following guide.
