ActBlue user roles and permissions dictate what users can do on our platform. If the tools or features in this article are unavailable to you, speak to your entity Admin first about updating your permissions.
The Transfer Recurring feature allows you to select a new recipient for your recurring contributions. To get started, ask your recurring donors to redirect their recurring contributions to a recipient of your choice. You can do this via your ActBlue settings.
Head to the Settings section of your Dashboard menu and select “General.”
Scroll down to “Transfer Recurring”
From here, you can select a recipient by typing in the name of any group on ActBlue. You can also customize the email that we send to donors inviting them to transfer their contributions.
Once you click “Save changes,” your ActBlue representative will receive a notification. They will reach out to you to confirm the request. Emails to your recurring donors will go out as coordinated between you and your ActBlue representative after the election. The email that lands in your donor’s inbox will have your custom blurb in it and look like the one below.
The amount of support that the ActBlue Customer Service Team can provide is dependent on the permissions that you have. Check with your entity Admin about your assigned role.
