You may receive a message from a campaign asking you to transfer your recurring donation to a new group. This means the original recipient has selected that group to receive their recurring donations. The email will look something like the one below.
To transfer your donation, click “Transfer your contribution.” You will land on the ActBlue Express login page. If you don’t have an ActBlue Express account, you will be prompted to create one, which you can do in just a few clicks. Sign in to your account to proceed.
You will land on a page asking you to confirm the transfer. If you have multiple active recurring contributions to that campaign or organization, the prompt will ask you to transfer the higher dollar donation. Click the “Transfer contribution” button.
Confirm your payment method and then select “Confirm transfer.”
A pop-up will summarize the transfer, and you will also receive an email receipt.
Your ActBlue Express account will also reflect the transfer. From the “Recurring” tab, you should see your new recurring contribution under “Active.” The old recurring donation that you transferred will be under “Inactive.”
