Can I issue or request a partial refund for a donor's contribution?

No, issuing a partial refund for a donor's contribution is not currently possible on Core ActBlue or Raise by ActBlue. 

In place of a partial refund, we suggest issuing a full refund for the donor's contribution and then requesting they re-contribute the intended amount in a new transaction. 

If your campaign or organization would prefer to send the donor a refund check for the difference outside of ActBlue, please ensure the donor is looped into this process to prevent them from requesting and potentially receiving multiple refunds.
