Getting Started (ActBlue Website Builder)
Create your website
You can create and manage websites from your ActBlue Website Builder Dashboard.
To create a new website:
- Sign on to your Website Builder Dashboard.
- Select Add site.
- Complete the website creation form:
- Enter a site name (you can update this at any time)
- Choose a website type
- Candidate
- County Party
- Review and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Confirm your organizational affiliation.
- Confirm if you would like an ActBlue donation form automatically created and included on your website
After you submit the form, you’ll return to your account Dashboard. Your new site will appear in the websites table with a Pending status.
It may take a few minutes for the site to complete its setup. Once the status updates, you can manage and log in to your site.
Log in to your site
- From the Website Table in your account Dashboard, locate the site you’d like to access.
- Select Manage.
You’ll land on the site details page, where you can view your site, log in to the site editor, and manage custom domains.
Granting access to multiple users
You can allow other users to access and edit a site by making them an Admin on your ActBlue fundraising account. Users must have the Admin role in order to access Website Builder.
Understanding Your Site's Dashboard
Your website Dashboard provides access to core site actions and content creation.
Quick links include:
- View or edit site: Opens the public-facing site and enables the website editor.
- Add page: Creates a new page.
- Add news: Creates a news article or press release.
- Add event: Creates a new event.
- Add endorsement: Creates a new endorsement.
Additionally, form analytics display the number of submissions each form has received. Forms are listed by name.
