To deactivate your Raise by ActBlue entity: 1. Log in to your Raise account 2. Go to **Campaign Settings** under Settings 3. Scroll down to the **ActBlue plan & status** section 4. Click **Deactivate fundraising** 5. Review the summary of what will happenConfirm by typing your entity name and selecting **Deactivate fundraising** Please note that deactivation is only available to users with Admin access to your entity. --- ### Do I need to deactivate my Raise by ActBlue entity to comply with a legislative blackout? If you're trying to deactivate your account to comply with a legislative fundraising blackout - don't worry! Our compliance team tracks these blackouts and will automatically deactivate and reactivate your entity as needed. Once your entity is successfully deactivated: - Your contribution forms will no longer be able to accept new donations - Any actively recurring donations will stop billing to your donors - Your committee will no longer appear in the ActBlue directory - Any embedded forms on your website will display an inactive message Although you won't be able to fundraise with a deactivated entity, you (and your entity's other users) will still retain access to the entity. This ensures you can: - View and download all contribution data for compliance and reporting purposes - Issue refunds for any pending contributions not yet disbursed (find instructions for how to do so[here](https://help.actblue.com/hc/en-us/articles/16870052583191-how-do-i-issue-a-refund-for-a-donor)) - Export your donor information --- ### Can I reactivate my entity later? Yes! If you decide to start fundraising again **with the same committee**, we can reactivate your account at any time.
