Search Engine Optimization (Hey Victor)

Search engine optimization, or SEO, helps supporters and voters find your website through search engines such as Google and Bing.

Hey Victor manages many SEO settings automatically, but you must review and update several fields from your site dashboard before launching your site.

Update SEO settings

Navigate to Site settings, then select General.

Site title

The site title appears in:

• Search results
• Browser tabs
• Link previews

Choose a clear, descriptive title that reflects your campaign or organization.

Tagline

The tagline is a short description of your campaign or organization. It helps visitors and search engines understand the purpose of your site.

SEO and social sharing

These settings control how your site appears in search results and when shared on social media or messaging apps.

• Title: Defaults to the site title
• Description: Defaults to the tagline
• Share image: The image used in link previews (recommended size: 1200 x 630 pixels)

Site visibility

• Private: Hides your site from search engines
• Public: Allows search engines to index (find) your site

Sites are private by default. Make your site public only after connecting a custom domain and confirming your site is ready to launch.
