What is an ActBlue Express account?
Millions of people use ActBlue Express to donate in a single click to any campaign or organization on ActBlue, but there are many more benefits. ActBlue Express users can access features and tools that make it fast and easy to give, fundraise, and keep track of donations.
The easiest time to create an account is right after you donate. Create a password, sign up with Google, or sign up here. ActBlue Express allows you to save your credit card or PayPal™ information and personal information like your name, address, and employment information.
Please note that you do not need an ActBlue Express account to donate to the campaigns, organizations, and nonprofits that use ActBlue.
What are the parameters for my password?
Your ActBlue Express account password should contain at least eight characters, including a letter and a number. When creating an account, try another password if the initial password does not satisfy these parameters.
If you forgot your password, you can reset it here. The password reset link will expire after 48 hours for security purposes.
What kind of email address should I use?
Use an email address that you have consistent access to. We recommend using a personal email instead of one associated with work or school.
You can always change the email address associated with your account.
What should I check about my email address before selecting ‘Create Account?’
Double-check for spelling errors in an email address when signing up. We send all correspondence and receipts to the address you enter. Common mistyped email addresses include @yaho.com or @gmail.cm.
What information do I need to store my payment information?
Credit card information, including cardholder name, billing address, employer/employment details, and PayPal login details, can be saved to your account to make donations quicker and easier in the future.
You cannot save your Venmo, Apple Pay, or Google Pay to your ActBlue Express account, but if you have Apple Pay or Google Pay set up on your device, you can use it to make one-time and recurring contributions. If you have the Venmo app, you can use it to make one-time contributions.
How can I stop my ActBlue receipts from going to my spam folder?
When you receive your first email from ActBlue confirming your account, add the email address to your contacts in your email, and this will help ensure that your receipts don’t go to your spam folder.
